Rumor: Super Slim PS3 for TGS reveal

The Tokyo Game Show will play host to the formal reveal of Sony’s long-rumored Super Slim PlayStation 3.

That’s at least according to the newsletter for Polish retailer Media Expert, which features an image pointing to a new PS3 hardware revision. Furthermore, the date posted on the ad – September 28 – just happens to be a couple of days after Sony’s TGS presser.

Check out the image below, via Polygamia.

Speculation on a new PS3 model has been doing the rounds for a good few months now. Earlier this summer, it was suggested Sony was readying the new hardware for a Gamescom reveal. That didn’t happen, but chatter has been on-going since.

According to reports, the Super Slim PS3 will ship in two models: 120GB (€199) and 500GB (€299).

3. Then, plug in your PlayStation Vita to your PC and go to Content Manager. It might prompt you to download a program - if it does, go ahead and download it. It's a small file, and you'll likely end up using it a lot.
4. Now go to "Copy Content" and click PC > PS Vita System, and then scroll down to Photo.
5. This will launch the Photo application, where you'll see images with check boxes next to them. These are the images in your Photos folder (if you didn't save the wallpaper in the photos folder you'll need to navigate to the folder where you saved the wallpaper in step 2). Simply check
the boxes you want to bring over and then hit Copy.
6. You now have the Wallpaper on your PS Vita.
7. Finally go into your photo gallery on your PS Vita and open an image. If you tap the screen a small bubble will pop up on the bottom right of the screen, which you need to click on. Now hit "Use as Start Screen" and you're done. It's set.

CWCheat 2.3

Weltall is back with a quick CWCheat update (Its been a while!) This version has been rebuilt with toolchain and updated to included the latest cheat database. So you’ll find cheats for most of the new games present. It also has a new (beta) refresh functionality he wrote over a year ago! That’s now included too in this release.
Don’t know what CWCheat is? Well its a universal cheat system / plug-in that can apply certain cheats to almost every PSP game out there. Similar to GameShark codes etc. It also has many other extra features too.
CWCheat 2.3 Changelog:
- rebuilt with latest toolchain
- updated db to latest version in the site
- there is an cheat refresh hz functionality but i coded it one year ago so i’m unsure if it works and how it works right now
- consider this an untested beta

LCFW 6.60 PRO B10

Believe it or not, the next revision of PRO LCFW is not entitled PRO C but PRO B10 and provides the usual bug fixes over the last revision. Once again a B revision outruns PRO C which is in development since B4. Here is the changelog I found on the internet (it’s translated from Chinese so it’s far from perfect):

  • [!]fix bugs: ISOCache infinite loop、unsupport>2GB ISO,and Need for Speed: Carbon Own The City track disappear
  • [!]ISOCache default 256
  • [!]fix PSPGo ISO VIDEO MOUNT problem in start game
  • [!]fix Recovery menu low probability halt,Recovery menu cpu speed not display 333/166
  • [!]fix problem in ISO file name (thx to popsdeco)
  • [!]fix ISO file size when mounting UMD through USB (thx to neur0ner)
  • [!]optimize order of the patch
  • [!]fix the problem of decryption code
  • [+]reduce FastRecovery file size, speedup fast recovery (thx to neur0ner)
  • [+]support Satelite and Recovery menu translation file, fonts can be changed
  • [+]hold R to disable VSH plugins when start XMB
  • [+]Recovery menu add Delete Hibernation and highlight effect
  • [+]support 2GB~4GB ISO/CSO
Here are some the most frequently asked questions about PRO LCFW:
  • What is LCFW ? LCFW a.k.a Light Custom Firmware is a custom firmware that is stored in the RAM as well as in the Flash0  and when the PSP is completely turned off it gets erased(only from the RAM). It’s the only CFW available for PSP 3000/GO/E1000 and PSP 2000 with TA088v3. It enables you to play PS1 games, PSP iso/cso games and to run homebrews and plugins.
  • Is there a way to make this LCFW permanent? If your PSP supports 6.20 OFW there is so called Permanent Patch that can make the 6.20 Pro B10 permanent and it’s supported by any PSP that supports 6.20 OFW. If you have PSP 1000 or PSP 2000 with non-TA088v3 motherboard you can also install 6.39 Pro B10 or 6.60 Pro B10 and install CIPL. This will make the LCFW full CFW.
  • What is Fast Recovery? After the initial installation of the LCFW there is easier way to turn it on. It’s to run the Fast Recovery.
  • Can I delete the files after the installation? If you have installed 6.20 Pro B10 with a permanent patch  or CIPL you can delete everything. If not than you can delete everything except the Fast Recovery.
  • What PSPs are supported?
  1. 6.20 Pro B10 – 1g,2g,3g,4g,5g,6g,downgraded to 6.20 9g
  2. 6.35 Pro B10 – 1g,2g,3g,4g,5g,6g,7g,9g
